I am a registered Counsellor and active community member in Southeast Queensland. My focus, as a Muslim Counsellor, is to respect the unique stories of every person, couple or family, and work ‘alongside’ them by working through multiple options together to discover solutions.
My practice, EASE Counselling Services, values’ clients as the experts of their own lives and focuses on developing their strengths. My special interest involves combining client centered therapies with Islamic principles. I am excited to be able to merge all my careers of creativity, teaching, and counselling together to help others improve their overall wellbeing.
As a Muslim, it is our belief and one of my core values in the counselling interaction, that ‘verily with every difficulty there is ease’ (Quran 94:5).
Counselling provides a neutral place for individuals, couples or families to openly discuss their concerns where solutions can be identified.
